Lean Service
OEE offers Lean training that is specifically aimed at service organisations. For full details of our courses you can visit our dedicated website; however, the following provides an overview of the Lean Service that we offer.
We provide practical, fun and engaging training that consistently receives excellent feedback from students. Graduates of our courses return to work inspired and equipped with new skills to make a difference. In our experience, Service businesses employing Lean can typically enjoy a 20-40% increase in productivity, improved customer service and increased staff satisfaction.
OEE’s courses range from Introductory and Practitioner through to Advanced training. We cater for all levels of experience and provide a number of ways to access our training that you can fit with your circumstances. You can learn online; at one of our open courses or, if you represent an organisation we can offer tailored in-house courses. You can even follow up the training with OEE facilitated workshops to kick start your Lean programme.
OEE’s Lean service training is very flexible both in terms of content and delivery. You can follow Cardiff Business School’s Lean Enterprise Research Centre’s Lean Competency System leading to accreditation, or can be tailored to the specific needs of your organisation.

New – Online Lean training
The cost of conventional training doesn’t stop with the course fee; there is also the time away from work and the travel and subsisistence costs to consider. Our customers tell us that they love our interactive face-to-face training but sometimes need to minimise the diversion of their staff from their primary roles. This is particularly important when large numbers of people are being trained.
Working with on-line training and learning and development experts, we’ve developed an online interactive “Introduction to Lean” course that takes approximately 90 minutes. Progress through the course is evaluated and recorded by our Learning Management System so that students can mange their learning for themselves. The training is accredited and on completion of the course a certificate is issued electronically.
